Sihman's minimum order is 2,000 pairs per design, color, and size. Color and size each count separately: one design in two sizes means 2,000 pairs of each size, 4,000 pairs in total. Specialty fibers such as merino or alpaca carry a higher minimum. At these volumes, per-pair pricing comes in well below small-batch custom shops, with the best value starting at 10,000 or more pairs.

Include your sock type and style, a tech pack or reference, target materials, quantity per design with the number of colorways and sizes (the 2,000 pair minimum applies per design, color, and size), branding, packaging needs, destination country, and your timeline. Complete briefs get a quote in one reply, within one business day. If your design is confidential, ask for a mutual NDA first.

Per-pair pricing depends on your specifications, so we quote it rather than publish a list price. The main drivers are construction (a plain cotton crew is cheaper to knit than a grip, cushioned, or graded compression sock), yarn choice, needle density, the number of knitted logo colors, packaging, and volume, with meaningful price breaks from 10,000 pairs. Send your specification and we return firm per-pair pricing within one business day.

A custom sample costs $300 per design and includes three pairs with shipping; grip, compression, and other specialty constructions start at $500. Allow 2 to 3 weeks from the agreed tech pack, delivery included. Sampling starts once your design or reference is confirmed and the sample invoice is paid, and you approve the sample before any bulk production begins.

Sample fees are quoted separately from production orders and are not credited by default. For larger programs, a credit toward production can be discussed during quoting. Sample development takes real technician and machine time on the same equipment as production, which is why samples are charged even for serious buyers.

Yes, and it is the fastest way to start. Send us a physical sock you like and we will arrange courier pickup for a flat $45, so you do not have to organize international shipping yourself. Our production team measures and matches the construction, yarn, and finish, and can improve on it where you want changes. A reference sock removes more guesswork than any tech pack, so your first sample comes back closer to what you want.

Absolutely. We manufacture socks using the designs you provide: your brand, your way.

Sihman manufactures most custom sock constructions, including grip, graded compression, athletic, dress, diabetic, and kids styles. We knit at 156 or 200 needle density with molded silicone or PVC grips, terry cushioning zones, anatomical left and right shaping, mesh panels, and knitted logos in up to six thread colors. Patterns are knitted, not printed, for a more premium finish. We do not make five-toe (toe) socks or shoe-like constructions.

Sihman manufactures to your design and does not offer design services. Send a tech pack, artwork, or a reference sock you like; our production team advises on construction, materials, and feasibility, and can match or improve on a reference sock. You bring the brand and the design direction, and we make it knittable, from yarn choice to logo placement.

Sihman knits cotton, organic cotton, bamboo, modal, wool, and performance blends at 156 or 200 needle density. A durable sock needs roughly 20 percent synthetic content, so we do not offer 100 percent natural fiber socks; a typical recipe is 80 percent target fiber with 17 percent polyamide and 3 percent elastane. We advise the right blend for your design and use case during quoting.

Yes. Sihman signs mutual NDAs before you share confidential designs, and your designs and tech packs remain your property. We keep our manufacturing know-how; you keep your intellectual property. Mention the NDA in your first message and we will complete it before any files change hands.

No. Sihman is a make-to-order private label manufacturer: we do not carry stock or a catalog, and client work is protected by confidentiality agreements, so we cannot show past client products. We manufacture to your design or match a reference sock you provide. Sihman's own retail sock brands are sold separately at www.sihman.shop.

Shipping and customs are included in our pricing. However, your chosen air or sea freight method can affect the final unit cost. Sea freight is budget-friendly. Air freight is faster. Either way, we offer free delivery to your door.

Sihman quotes delivered duty-paid (DDP) by default: one landed price to your door with shipping and customs already inside it, and Sihman acts as importer of record for US orders. FOB Istanbul is available on request if you would rather manage freight and customs yourself. Tell us your destination country and your preference when you request a quote, and we will quote exact terms.

Yes. Sihman produces custom packaging and labeling in-house: hangtags, header cards, sleeves, gift boxes, and polybags, with finished goods assembled retail-ready or e-commerce-ready, including Amazon FBA prep. Sihman Inc. handles US labeling requirements under its own FTC registered identification number. Custom packaging is quoted separately from the per-pair sock price, so include your packaging format when you request a quote.

Sihman Inc. is a Texas company based in the Dallas area, and all socks are knitted in Istanbul, Turkiye by our sister company Elteksan, in operation since 1999. Production holds OEKO-TEX Standard 100, amfori BSCI, Sedex, and OCS, with documentation available on request. For US orders Sihman acts as importer of record, so you receive one duty-paid landed price.
